We are seeking a motivated individual to join our tight-knit and dynamic Legal Team as a Legal Team Associate. The ideal candidate excels in a fast-paced professional environment, works well with senior attorneys and business professionals, and is keen to learn the range of legal and regulatory activities that keep our team running! The role is broad. You will work directly with our General Counsel, Chief Compliance Officer and attorneys on regulatory filings, record-keeping, and strategic initiatives for the group. Under the supervision of our attorneys, you will provide first-level legal review for certain agreements and will help draft and revise formal communications. We are seeking an individual who is comfortable working independently with limited supervision while also being proactive and collaborative in a very active Legal Team. You will have a direct impact on our Legal Team’s productivity and the company's bottom line, and so you must be exceedingly well-organized, have strong attention to detail, and maintain a high level of prudence around sensitive information.
Although Sands Capital presently operates in a “work from home” environment, we generally expect you will work from Sands Capital’s headquarters in Arlington, Virginia Monday – Friday, or as agreed, when it is safe to do so.
