Job Title: Financial Planning Administrator / Junior Paraplanner
Salary: £28,000 - £38,000 per annum (dependent on experience)
Location: Leicester (LE3) - 100% Office-Based
Hours: Monday - Friday, 8:00 AM - 4:00 PM

We are seeking a detail-oriented, proactive Financial Planning Administrator to join a dynamic wealth management firm based in Leicester.
In this varied and hands-on role, you will work closely with Financial Advisers to deliver high-quality support across administration, provider liaison, and report generation. This is an excellent opportunity for an experienced Administrator looking to sharpen their technical skills, produce key research reports, and attend client meetings alongside advisers.

This is an excellent opportunity for an experienced Administrator looking to sharpen their technical skills, produce key research reports, and attend client meetings alongside advisers.
Key Responsibilities
- Client & Meeting Preparation:
- Prepare complete annual review packs, including portfolio valuations, fund performance data, and cash flow reports.
- Sort and organise client documents following adviser meetings.
- Attend client meetings alongside the Financial Adviser as needed.
- Technical & Research Support:
- Produce Defaqto risk reports and FE Analytics fund research.
- Generate cash flow modelling reports using CashCalc.
- Complete simple online business submissions through internal systems.
- Provider Liaison & Case Tracking:
- Process Letters of Authority (LOAs) and organise incoming policy documentation.
- Proactively chase providers for outstanding information to keep cases moving efficiently.
- Practice & Office Support:
- Maintain and update the FCA Daybook for all advisers.
- Answer incoming calls and manage client queries professionally.
- Handle daily post and general office administrative duties.
Key Skills & Experience
- Prior experience working within an IFA or Financial Planning environment is strongly preferred.
- Familiarity with financial tools and software (e.g., Defaqto, FE Analytics, CashCalc) is a major advantage.
- Exceptional attention to detail and strong organizational skills.
- Clear, professional communication skills (written and verbal).
- Proactive mindset with the ability to manage multiple priorities effectively.
