Consultant - Data Analyst | Reporting & Visualisation | London

I'm working with a leading global change and transformation consultancy that is growing its Technology & Data practice.

They're looking for a Data Analyst at Consultant level to work across reporting, data visualisation and data modelling, helping clients turn complex data into clear, actionable insight.

The role will involve:
• Designing and delivering Power BI reporting and dashboards
• Building and maintaining semantic and dimensional data models
• Working across the data lifecycle, from upstream engineering through to reporting
• Using SQL for data extraction, transformation and analysis
• Identifying trends, risks and opportunities within datasets
• Supporting data quality, governance and metric definition
• Translating business requirements into clear, user-focused reporting solutions
• Presenting insights and recommendations to senior stakeholders
• Working alongside Data Engineers, Architects and Product Owners on wider data initiatives

They're looking for someone with:
• Around 3+ years' experience in Data Analytics / BI / Reporting
• Strong Power BI experience
• Strong SQL skills
• Good understanding of data modelling, particularly Star Schema / Kimball principles
• Experience with data warehousing, Lakehouse or Medallion architectures
• Exposure to AWS, Azure or GCP
• Experience with Tableau, Looker or Microsoft Fabric is a plus
• Strong stakeholder and client-facing communication skills
• The ability to turn data into compelling visual stories and business recommendations

This would suit someone who wants to move beyond simply producing dashboards and take more ownership of the data, modelling and business problems behind the reporting.
