What you'll do
We're looking for someone with a user-centric approach to organise a backlog aligned to internal platform journeys and collaborate with other product owners to develop a broader platform strategy. In addition, you'll set expectations with your stakeholders for feedback on the direction of the platform. And, from a budgeting point of view, you'll create financial forecasts and contribute to the domain budget process.

- We're looking for an experienced Product Manager to research insights, execute testing strategies and validate training materials for internal platform users
- You'll be making sure appropriate data is collected to generate insights that will be used to design, develop and evolve our internal platform capabilities
- This is an opportunity for you to be at the forefront of defining the capabilities that enable our engineering and research teams to deliver effectively
What you'll do

In addition, you'll set expectations with your stakeholders for feedback on the direction of the platform. And, from a budgeting point of view, you'll create financial forecasts and contribute to the domain budget process.
You'll also be:
- Working with multiple engineering and business stakeholders to establish and prioritise features to progress the platform vision
- Providing clear direction and encouragement to the delivery teams to get user feedback early to enable changes in platform direction
- Able to relate everyday work to the strategic vision of the platform, with a strong focus on business and engineering outcomes
- Managing the platform and delivery quality through the acceptance of stories
- Collaborating with the release train to set the scope

You'll also be expected to have:
- Knowledge of platform development and management, including machine learning platforms and workflows, with the ability to translate complex technical concepts into clear product direction for engineering, research and business stakeholders.
- Experience co-ordinating delivery across multiple teams and disciplines, ensuring alignment between product, engineering, research, risk and wider business functions.
- Strong understanding of cloud, infrastructure and platform concepts, including hosting, compute, storage, networking, and experience working across on-premises and hybrid environments.
- Experience operating within regulated environments, with a solid understanding of governance, risk management and control processes relating to data, models and technology platforms.
- Proven ability to work effectively with highly technical engineering and research teams, supporting platform strategy, development and delivery.
- Experience managing third-party suppliers, technology vendors and commercial engagements to support platform, product and business objectives.
