We are seeking an experienced Test Lead to lead the testing strategy for a Core Banking Transformation Programme, focusing on AI-driven modernization while ensuring legacy functionality is preserved.

Responsibilities:

• Conduct an initial test readiness assessment to establish the current state.

• Review and document existing system capabilities, data flows, interfaces and dependencies.

• Define the overall testing strategy, frameworks and required test deliverables.

• Establish how the new Java/cloud platform will be tested against existing mainframe functionality.

• Lead a significant regression testing effort to ensure existing functionality is preserved.

• Assess the quality and completeness of existing requirements and test documentation.

• Engage business stakeholders to understand critical processes, expected behaviours and acceptance criteria.

• Identify gaps in test coverage and establish the testing approach, environments and readiness requirements.

• Support business testing and ensure the replacement platform is fit for purpose.

Key Requirements:

• Extensive experience as a Test Lead in core banking or large-scale legacy modernization.

• Proven regression testing expertise.

• Strong background in test strategy development.

• Experience working with business stakeholders.
