Your role

In this role within the IB Business Risk Management - Travel and Expense Team, you will:



• manage day-to-day Travel and Expense operations, prioritizing requests and ensuring timely delivery of business objectives

• review, process, and approve employee expense reports while ensuring compliance with company policies and controls

• provide exceptional employee support by resolving inquiries, troubleshooting issues, and guiding expense report submissions

• educate employees on Travel and Expense policies while communicating updates and policy changes effectively

• partner with team members and control functions to review expense claims and support governance requirements

• ensure assigned tasks are completed accurately, on time, and aligned with team priorities and service standards.

• identify and implement process improvements, leveraging automation, AI, and technology to enhance efficiency and employee experience

• support reporting and business insights by analyzing trends, monitoring performance, and driving continuous improvement opportunities

You will join the Travel and Expense Team in Nashville, TN, which plays a critical role in ensuring employees have a seamless experience managing travel arrangements and expense reporting. Our focus on detail and compliance supports the success and reputation of UBS.




Your expertise



• ideally 0-2+ years of experience in financial services, operations, administration, employee support, or a business management support role.

• strong communication, customer service, and interpersonal skills

• ability to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines in a fast paced environment

• strong problem solving, organizational, and attention to detail skills

• interest in process improvement, automation, and operational efficiency

• curiosity and willingness to explore AI and technology driven solutions

• proficiency in Microsoft Excel, PowerPoint, and Word

• experience with Concur, Power BI, Alteryx, or other automation tools is a plus

• you're curious to explore how AI can improve how we build, deliver, and optimize workflows. You do this with sound judgment - validating outputs and aligning with policies, risk standards, and ethical use
