Ou client is looking for an Accounts receivable officer to join the team on a permanent basis. Working as part of a dedicated finance team, you will play an important role in ensuring accurate financial administration and delivering a high standard of service to clients and stakeholders.
Your new role
- Managing recurring account charges and processing account amendments when required
- Monitoring outstanding balances and communicating with customers regarding payments
- Coordinating the return of accommodation-related funds in line with applicable requirements
- Recording incoming payments and ensuring funds are correctly allocated
- Preparing and reviewing account reconciliations to maintain financial accuracy
- Investigating account discrepancies and resolving issues promptly
- Assisting with monthly financial close activities, including balance sheet and banking reconciliations
- Responding to enquiries from customers, families and colleagues regarding account matters
- Previous experience in accounts receivable, finance administration or bookkeeping
- Strong numerical skills and confidence working with high-volume financial data
- Demonstrated experience performing reconciliations and investigating variances
- Intermediate Microsoft Excel
- Ability to manage competing priorities
- Strong written and verbal communication skills
- Relevant qualifications in accounting, bookkeeping or finance administration, or equivalent practical experience
- Understanding of compliance obligations and the importance of maintaining confidential records
