Job Description
- Supported the General Manager in overseeing departmental strategy, business planning, and day-to-day banking operations, ensuring alignment with regulatory requirements and overall business objectives.
- Managed and supervised core operational teams (customer service, settlement, remittance, and control), ensuring efficient, accurate, and compliant execution of daily activities.
- Developed and enhanced operational policies, procedures, and internal controls to improve efficiency, service quality, and governance standards.
- Strengthened operational risk management frameworks by identifying, assessing, and mitigating risks, while coordinating regulatory reviews, audits, and remediation actions.
- Drove process optimisation, system enhancement, and cross-functional collaboration with Head Office and internal teams, while supporting talent development and strategic initiatives.
- Bachelor's degree or above.
- 10+ years of relevant banking operations experience, including at least 5 years in a managerial role.
- Deep expertise across core banking operations, including trade finance, customer service, clearing and settlement, remittances, and operational control.
- Strong understanding of Hong Kong regulatory frameworks, with hands-on experience in internal controls, operational risk management, AML, and compliance requirements.
- Fluent in Mandarin, English, and Cantonese.
