David Wilson has joined ING Barings from Deutsche Bank, along with Neil Mackison and Matthew Flower. The team will provide broking and advisory services to UK growth companies. Wilson was previously at BT Alex. Brown, Warburg Dillon Read and UBS. He will report to Malcolm Le May, ING Barings' global head of corporate and institutional finance. Helmut Schön has been appointed managing director and global head of WestLB Panmure's technology industry group. He will report to Mark Ebert, head of investment banking at WestLB Panmure. Schön joins from Merrill Lynch in London where he was director of the telecommunications, media and technology group. Robin Henshall is to join Donaldson, Lufkin & Jenrette in December as a managing director and head of utilities, energy and transportation. He joins from Warburg Dillon Read, where he had been head of the European power and pipelines sector group, and will now report to Martin Smith, DLJ's chairman of the European investment banking group. Timo Leino has been appointed head of JP Morgan's European paper, packaging and forestry products mergers and acquisitions team. Leino, who previously spent three years at Warburg Dillon Read, will also head JP Morgan's investment banking business in Finland. He will report to Klaus Diederichs, co-head of global M&A, and Preben Prebensen, European head of investment banking. Donald Hubbard has joined Morgan Stanley Dean Witter's European technology coverage team as an executive director. Reporting to Dhiren Shah, head of European technology, Hubbard will develop the team's capital-raising and advisory activities for internet clients. He was previously head of Warburg Dillon Read's New York-based Internet and Software Group. Wayland Austin has joined Merrill Lynch's corporate broking team from Hoare Govett. Austin will report to Mike Gibson, head of the group in London. Credit Suisse First Boston has appointed Peter Ireland as a vice-president in its European asset finance group. Ireland was formerly with Bankers Trust in London and Hong Kong. Paul Jellicoe has joined stockbroker Teather and Greenwood as a director of the corporate finance department. He joins after 17 years with James Capel, latterly as a managing director of the corporate broking division, where he was responsible for UK syndication, client investor relations and client services.
