Cresta expands resource solutions arm

The firm has appointed Ben Dear and Nick Kerrison as directors overseeing account development and the integration of the resource business into the group. They both join from Alexander Mann and will have responsibility also for growing the investment banking search business.

Tom Buckett joins as a researcher from an equity sales background at ING Barings. At Cresta, he will assume responsibility for research within equities.

Grant Faulks joins as a principal consultant from Unisys to head up the technology consultancy and staffing services division.

Sebastian Russell-Smith joins as a consultant from Alexander Mann to focus on mid- to senior-level IT search assignments for business-aligned technologists in the finance sector.

Linesh Dehya joins as a consultant from Symbian. Dehya will assume responsibility for technically assessing candidates and advising on training issues.

Joss Wilbraham joins as a senior consultant from Cap Gemini Ernst & Young where he was a banking and securities consultant. Wilbraham will set up the Cresta Strategic Resourcing Business, which will focus on providing IT resource from non-UK domicile countries.

Edward Longe has been appointed as a sales director and comes from a fixed income sales background, previously working for Paribas and Heleba. Longe joins Cresta to market and develop the Asset Securitisation Administration Program within the securitisation market.

Sophy Colliver joins from Enterprise IG, an international branding consultancy, to run administration and systems.

Joanna Lavers joins Cresta to support the technology division and to oversee and assist in any external advertising and public relations.
