Banks are looking for junior corporate finance staff to cover the CEEMEA region.
Logan Naidu, a consultant at search firm the Cornell Partnership, says banks are on the lookout for junior corporate financiers to cover the Central and Eastern Europe, Middle East and Africa (CEEMEA) region.
"A lot of banks pulled back in this region following the Russian crisis in 1998 and are now interested in boosting their presence," he says. "We're looking for Polish people, Czechs and Hebrew speakers, as well as Romanians, Hungarians, and Slovakians at analyst and associate level."
Naidu says teams are typically based in London but spend time abroad: "These guys are doing a lot of travelling."
