Hedge fund Eisler Capital rumoured to be selling some wares
Perhaps it's inevitable. Now that Eisler Capital is winding down its investments before year-end, it's understood that the fund might be dipping its toe in the market to see if anyone might be interested in buying some of its constituent parts.

Eisler's not selling office furniture yet (or at least we don't think so), but rumours are swirling in London and the US to the effect that the fund might be selling its risk and analytics system, and some of its assets.
Eisler declined to comment on the claims. Rival funds rumoured to be buying its assets didn't respond to a request for clarification.
Eisler's risk and pricing system is called Photon. It was developed by the firm's deputy CIO, Sam Wisnia and Angelo Haritsis, Eisler's senior technologist. The two men worked together previously at both Goldman Sachs and Deutsche Bank. At Deutsche Bank, they conceived a similar system called Kannon.
Eisler's strats team was arguably one of its strengths. Many were highly loyal to Wisnia, who was popular with his deputies despite some differences with PMs.
