Angus Woolhouse has been appointed marketing director of investment services at Invesco Asset Management. He joins from HSBC Asset Management in Hong Kong where he was responsible for commercial development in the Asia Pacific region. Mark Gull has been appointed deputy head of non-government bonds at Morley Fund Management. Gull joins from Gartmore, where he managed fixed interest funds and unit trusts. He now has responsibility for Morley's corporate bond portfolio and for CGU Life and will report to Hugh Everitt, head of non-government bonds. David Norman has been appointed as the director of strategic marketing at Friends Ivory & Sime. Norman joins from Prudential Portfolio Managers and previously worked for Threadneedle Asset Management. Tom Maxwell, 51, has joined Martin Currie, the independent Edinburgh-based investment manager, as a director and head of UK fixed-income. He moves from Friends Ivory & Sime. Hugh Grootenhuis, who was head of Schroders' equity capital markets business in SE Asia, has joined JO Hambro Investment Management as marketing director. Investment consultants Tony Pike, Mark Powley and Adrian Kite have followed Adrian Swayles to Aon Consulting. All four formerly worked for William M Mercer. Danny Frith has been appointed head of administration at Johnson Fry and will report to Cathy Toman, finance director. Fry joins from Threadneedle, where he was responsible for third party administration and client reporting. Brett Greatrex joins from the Barclays-backed direct retail investment company b2 as product director, reporting to marketing director Lindsay Firth McGuckin.
