Hedge fund Tudor is hitting its stride in London on both pay and hiring
Most people agree that working at a major hedge fund is great. The pay is good, for one, although most concede that burnout and stress are also factors to consider. But there is one hedge fund in London at least where your job security might be quite good.

Accounts were released on Companies House yesterday for Tudor Capital Europe LLP, the main UK subsidiary of US hedge fund Tudor Investment Corporation. Figures are for the year ending 31 March on the given dates. Revenue was up at the firm between 2024 and 2025 – from $143m to $198m – but Tudor’s employees are probably celebrating other things.
For one, the fund added a heap of people. Tudor went from 101 employees in year ending March 2024 to 118 for year ending March 2025. Remarkably, it’s the sixth straight year in which the firm has increased its headcount in London, which was just 64 in the year ending March 2019. That’s an average growth rate of around 11% per year.
And despite the (presumably expensive) multi-year run of hiring that Tudor has been onin London, pay has also gone up, and nearly just as relentlessly. With one exception (between 2019 and 2020), average pay for employees at Tudor in London has consistently grown – from $235k per head in 2020 to $373k per head in 2025.
Tudor’s members – UK legal jargon for partners in a partnership – also enjoyed a significant pay uplift compared to last year. An average of $8.5m was distributed to each of Tudor’s members, most of whom are portfolio managers, in 2025. The year before, the figure was “just” $6.6m.
